Reentry Law: Combating the Collateral Consequences of Criminal Convictions

Presented by the Mary Leonard Law Society, in partnership with the State of Oregon Law Library

When:  Wednesday, January 28, 2015, from 12:00-1:00 p.m.
Where:  State of Oregon Law Library, 1163 State Street, Salem, OR 97301

On Wednesday, January 28, 2015, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., the Mary Leonard Law Society (MLLS), in partnership with the State of Oregon Law Library, will host a discussion about reentry law, which covers various legal issues facing people who have been incarcerated and are transitioning back into society. Kimberley Mansfield, coordinator of the legal clinic at the DeMuniz Reentry Resource Center, will be joining us to talk about this growing specialty, including what the practice of reentry law involves and how reentry efforts can reduce recidivism and correction costs.  The program will be held at the State of Oregon Law Library, 1163 State Street, Salem, OR 97301.  You are welcome to bring your lunch, including covered beverages; cookies will be provided.
